Saturday, January 28th is the Grand Opening of the largest community center in Hawaii. The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, located in Kapolei.

Honolulu city used to have many more independent movie theaters than it does now. That’s what I heard from people who know the old Hawaii.
Unfortunately, many of the old theaters have disappeared. But some theaters are still standing even though they have been abandoned for decades. Queen theater on Waialae is one of them.

Five entertainment stages featuring the islands hottest bands, NFL players, gorgeous cheerleaders, local celebrities, and ono food makes this the perfect pre-game party before the AFC and NFC teams battle it out at Aloha Stadium.
