When you think Dave & Busters, you think of Power cards, Pool and Eat & Play Combos.  You even think about the hundreds of middle and upper class people who enter its doors to take a load off after a long day at work and just have fun – socialize.  This year’s seminar, hosted by the Social Media Club and Technology News Bytes, basically took our “normal” view of D&B’s and changed our perspectives from how people have fun into how to get that “fun” to walk through the door every night.  The Hawaii Social Media Seminar was just a preview of things to come at this October’s Social Media Summit.  I was surrounded by bloggers, social media users, and socialites.  You know that saying?  Something about “surrounding yourself with successful people” to be successful?  My experience at this event was very successful.  I was able to learn different things from successful professionals and amateurs alike from how to “Tweet” more efficiently to how to use Facebook to your advantage. It was a very enlightening and pleasurable experience.  The food and beverage service didn’t hurt either.  I’m definitely looking forward to the Summit.
